This unit will help students understand how artists, craftspeople and designers have to plan and produce their own artwork in order to meet the needs of their “client”.
The artists on this course will be equipped with vocational knowledge, skills and understanding within the world of art. It will require students to work independently and as part of a team and will empower students to take control of their own learning and development. Students will study the work practices of individuals and small businesses and will develop an awareness of safe working practises with a range of materials and techniques.
