Uniform

It is expected that at all times parents / carers will do their utmost to support the College in its policy of uniform and appearance.

Every student is expected to wear the College uniform prescribed below.  We believe it sets high standards for both work and behaviour and encourages students to be proud of themselves and their College.  It also helps to establish a good community spirit.  Please make sure that all your child’s College clothing and personal property are clearly marked with his/her name.  The college blazer is compulsory and should be worn at all times.  The wearing of sweatshirts underneath the blazer is optional but sweatshirts may only be worn after the October half term and up until the May half term.  Students may wear coats on the way into school but these must be removed before registration and kept in bags or lockers throughout the day.  A wrist watch is allowed but no other item of jewellery, including earrings for any student, is permitted. Please note that extreme hairstyles are not permitted. All possessions should be clearly and indelibly marked with the owner’s name.

It is important the students understand and adhere to the college’s uniform policy.  Where a student fails to meet the expected standard of uniform appropriate sanctions will be applied.
