Work Experience
All Key Stage 4 students at High Tunstall College take part in a two week work experience placement as part of our Work Related Learning and CEG (Careers Education and Guidance) programmes.
We are committed to providing this opportunity for our students as we believe that the process of “Work Experience” is extremely valuable. Not only do students gain an insight into particular employment paths and working practices but they also learn about themselves as young people in the world of work.
As part of the Work Experience preparation students attend an interview and produce a letter of introduction, together with a Curriculum Vitae.
High Tunstall College is fortunate to have so many companies in the area who are willing to offer work experience placements – we are very grateful for the time and effort they spend with our students.
